- Let's face it, this blog is mostly about me, but in case you were wondering, here's a little more. I'm Amanda. I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, and a sister. I believe that family is the most important thing in life and the only thing you can always count on. After 6 years in the Army and 27 months in Iraq, 007 took a civilian job and we moved to the DC suburbs. We stay busy raising our two beautiful children and trying to say one step ahead. Our life is a rollercoaster, the kind that makes you laugh and cry, throw your hands in the air and scream, and then say "more please!"
